Child support inequality leads to deprivation—and is a root cause of wrongdoing and harm in our world. Today we have the power to shape a better future by supporting every child, because children are the future, and no child should ever be considered worth less.

"Our

A child's worth is not measured by circumstance, but by potential. When systems fail to provide equal support, we don’t just fail the child—we weaken the foundation of our shared future. True justice begins by ensuring every child has what they need to grow, contribute, and thrive.

What is Depravity

Depravity is a state of moral corruption or wickedness. It describes a condition of being morally or ethically degraded as a result of overwhelming circumstances, not an inherent flaw in the individual, highlighting the powerful role that environment and social factors play in shaping one's moral development. Making sure that all children have access to quality, healthcare, education, and other basic necessities, is not just a moral imperative, but also a smart investment in the future and of our world. Every child has the potential to achieve great things if given the chance. By implementing a voluntary cap on child support payments and reallocating excess funds to support underprivileged children, we can create a more just and equitable society that moves us away from depravity.

Pledge for equality

The current child support system in the United States is unequal and unfair. Some custodial parents receive over $200,000 per month in child support, while others receive little to no support at all. This disparity is unacceptable.

We believe it’s imperative to create a Universal Child Support System that ensures all children receive the support they need to lead healthy lives. It’s time to reform the system and build a more equitable society where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

We propose a voluntary cap on child support payments for providers paying over $15,000 a month, providing caretakers with a maximum payment of $500 per day to support a child. This would create a surplus of funds that could be used to help underprivileged children in our communities.

This system would provide critical support to children in need, alleviate poverty, and reduce inequality for children across America.

Broken System

Today, parents are being imprisoned simply for losing their income—sometimes for failing to pay as little as $300 in child support. This practice not only destroys families, but also costs taxpayers over $10,000 per month per incarcerated parent. It’s a cycle of punishment that is unjust, immoral, and economically irrational.

This unjust system not only tears families apart but also indebts American taxpayers further by perpetuating family separation. Parents who have fallen on hard times can still provide valuable care and guidance to their children. Imprisoning them for missed payments benefits the prison system at the expense of stripping children of their primary caregiver and emotional support.

No Child is Worth-less!

Universal Child Support

The American government has the authority to draft teenagers to fight and die in war. If we can mandate sacrifice from our youth, then surely we can mandate support for them. Providing for children during the most vulnerable years of their lives should not be optional—it must be a national priority.

We believe it is our collective responsibility to protect and uplift the most vulnerable members of our society. We call on lawmakers and public officials to take action and advocate for the establishment of Universal Child Support.
